Take the opportunity to help shape the tech industry talent pipeline by providing real-time feedback regarding proposed changes to the high school graduation requirements.

 

Jessica Hathawy, Senior Policy Analyst with the Legislative Education Study Committee (LESC,) will present the proposed changes and is hoping to receive real-time feedback from tech industry leaders on the potential impact on building a strong talent pipeline and to ensure the changes align with industry needs. 

 

The LESC notes that "New Mexico's high school graduation requirements were last comprehensively updated over a decade ago [and] since that time, economic changes, shifting workforce needs, globalization, and technological advancements have dramatically shifted the content students need to learn."
