Join our Cybersecurity Peer Group for a presentation on IoT Security with Tony Carrato, Consulting Architect, and Brian Rashap, IoT Professor. 

Tony and Brian will cover the inherent security problem in IoT, go through practical case studies and discuss best practices for IoT developers and IoT security architects. 



About the Speakers: 

Brian Rashap, Ph.D., IoT Professor, CNM
Brian retired from Intel Corporation in 2019 where he was the General Manager responsible for all buildings and physical infrastructure for the America's Region. He has a doctorate from the University of Michigan where he focused on the application of control theory to semiconductor manufacturing processes. In addition to teaching Internet of Things, he is also Co-Director of CNM's Technology Solutions Lab. 

Tony Carrato, CTO, Sound Sleep Science
Tony is a member of the Steering Committee of the Security Forum. At The Open Group. Tony, who retired from IBM in late 2019, is also an Open Group Certified Distinguished IT Architect and ahs 42 Acclaim badges overall. Tony is currently an Invited Expert of The Open Group Security Forum. He is currently CTO for a local startup.
