New Mexico Water Data Initiative with Stacy Timmons, New Mexico Tech



About the Speaker
Stacy Timmons is an Associate Director of Hydrogeology programs at the state geologic survey – the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, under New Mexico Tech. Working with the Aquifer Mapping Program for the last 15 years, Stacy has worked around the state on hydrologic and geologic research topics and a variety of water data collection and integration endeavors.  In 2019, Stacy began leading the implementation of the Water Data Act, a statute that works to improve management, sharing and integration of the state’s water data from multiple agencies and organizations.
